Highlands & Loch Ness

I’ve been told so much of the beauty of the highlands but I’ve always heard people’s comments with some skepticism. I thought that after my adventures in Norway and Iceland I could no longer be impressed by natural wonders. Well, I’m glad I was wrong and I’m glad I took this tour to the highlands despite the awful weather which by the way cursed me during my entire stay in Scotland. I have never seen such a cold place like this in the summer.

A stop in Glen Coe is absolutely necessary. This landscape is considered one of the most spectacular and beautiful places in Scotland.

After seeing these breathtaking views on the road we arrived at Loch Ness and at the Urquhart Castle.

After visiting the ruins of the castle we had the opportunity of taking a cruise in Loch Ness.

After a taste of Nessie’s beer, it’s time to go back to Edinburgh. Now I’m truly in love with Scotland!
